Tree Transplants & Fruit Trees
Transplants are seedlings, which have been removed from the seedbed and placed into a transplant bed. Compared to a seedling, transplants have a superior root system and the main stem is more developed.
Colorado Blue Spruce
A premium Christmas tree, very hardy and a colorful windbreak. Stiff silvery blue to bluish-green needles are 1" long. Prefers well-drained soils with average moisture and full sun. Does not like wet soil. Should not be planted in close proximity to Douglas Fir. Will reach 6 feet in 10-12 years. They will mature to a height of 60 feet.

Douglas Fir
Has soft, short, blue-green needles. Grows fastest in moist, well-drained soil, in full sun. Will not do well in heavy, wet, clay soil. This is the most popular Christmas tree because of its color, symmetry and its ability to hold its needles for a long time. Should not be planted in close proximity to the Colorado Blue Spruce. Reaches 6 feet in 10-15 years. Mature height is 80 feet. Comes in a bundle of 10.
Norway Spruce
A hardy, fast growing evergreen with dense dark green needles up to 1 inch long. Thrives well in average soil conditions. Excellent windbreak! Highly valued for its use in timber production. Branches droop gracefully as tree matures creating an attractive effect. Will grow to 6 feet in 7-10 years. Mature height 90 feet.

McIntosh - fruit medium to large, Sweet, ripens in September, Excellent fresh eating & cooking.
Cortland - Blooms mid-season, medium to large fruit, sweet, ripens in September.

Montmorency - Small figourous tree, sping white flowers,requires moist, well drained soil, tart cherry, good for pies & preserves
Bing - Grow up to 30-35 feet, delicious cherry deep almost black in color, sandy soil, well drained & requires adequate rain & dry periods.
Bartlett Pear - Semi Dwarf; 12-18 feet, Fruit is bell shape, white flowers grouped, Mid August to
mid-September, leaves simple & glossy green.
Ayers- Grows up to 30 feet, fragrant pink & white
flowers, August to September, very high sugar content, should pick early & allow to ripen a few days before eating.
