USDA Service Center Community Outreach
Conservation Giving Back
Through out the year the USDA Service Center which includes the Farm Service Agency, Natural Resource Conservation Services, and Otsego Soil & Water Conservation District gives back to the community in many different ways.
All three agencies provide all sorts of services through out the year to the county farmers, landowners, and students.
There are special community projects that these agencies set up booths. They provide program information with hand outs and answer any questions as it relates to their services.
Some places you can see their booths and meet the staff are at the Otsego County Fair, Milford Earth Day, Otsego Lake Festival, Springfield Center Parade, and Farm Days.
As well as doing all of that the USDA Service Center Staff entered into the Adopt-A-Highway as one way to give back to the county. This year the staff spent a few hours cleaning parts of highway 33 and 11C.
These are just a few of the additional ways the staff at the USDA Service Center continue to serve you.
